Friendship is the net to catch you when you fall off of the tight rope. If you fall, you can't live without it. I wouldn't want to live one day without atleast one true friend. "Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light."- Helen Keller. Helen has a point. The worst feeling in the world, in my opinion, is feeling alone. Even though it may be light out, I don't want to spend that time in the light alone. Imagine yourself in a dark cave with no flashlights. Do you want to be there by yourself with no one to talk to and lean on? Together you and whoever that person might be, can get out of the cave, eventually. Friends are a backup system, no matter what is going on in your life. The most loyal friend will be there through thick and thin. "Best friends just won't leave your side"- Blink 182. Cherish your friends and be yourself.
