The Castle
Abby and Liam sat on the beach that afternoon and worked their hardest. It came out great, just as they had hoped it would. It wasn't exactly the prettiest thing to look at but it was theirs. The two children ran away from home about three days ago. They left their houses with twenty-five dollars and backpacks full of clothes. They had no idea where they would go but they were sure they didn't like where they were at. They spent their days under the boardwalk and on the beach. They tried to forget their past, and start their future. Both of their parents had no clue that they left. You see that's why they left in the first place. Their parents didn't care. They were too preoccupied with themselves to care about their children. Those two children grew old together. They never left each others side. They were best friends until the very last moment. They had two of their very own children and made sure they had everything they ever wanted. They bought a house on that very beach they found refuge in so many years ago. Their children played under the same boardwalk. They embraced the days they had together. When they passed away nobody cried. Everyone was happy that they died in each other's arms. They had their ashes spread on the beach so they lived and died on that beach that they called home.
